Social Inequality: Representation of race colour of network T.V

the lack of accurate and diverse representation in the media has an effect oh how we perceive people of color to be and how we interact with them as a hole. The massive amounts of negative media based around one race, particularly black people, has divided our society into a predator versus prey society. 

the acts of discrimination based upon one's appearance, specifically race or ethnicity, suspecting them to have committed an offense.

the media tends to ignore the lives and ambitions of subordinate groups among them working class ,African American, guys overweight people and elder people.Even worse the content may create false images or stereotypes of those groups that become accepted as accurately portrayals of reality,  while under the impression that black people are all common criminals, and they are mainly featured in crime based dramas, and white people resort profiling that can lead to serous consequences for the innocent. 

understanding how racism in the media creates a fearful and discriminatory society is beneficial in recognizing how media fuels racial profiling and increase internalized racism.
